Text Box: Some of the books we have read contain rhyming words. While riding the car, ask your child to come up with a word that rhymes with a word you name (words you could use are: cat, pig, hop, dog, sun). In math, the children have been learning to match the number with a set of objects and the number word. They have also been comparing lengths, weight and capacity. Ask your child which is longer/shorter, heavier/lighter or which will hold more/less. We will be taking our last field trip to a farm on May 14th. Please look for information about this all day trip. I know we will have another great day out! In closing, I would just like to thank each one of you for the opportunity to teach your child. I have truly enjoyed each one of them and will miss them so much! Thank you for supporting us! Because of you, these children have had a wonderful start. I have been truly blessed to have such terrific children and parents. I hope you and your family have a fantastic summer!
